What is the inspiration behind your artwork?
The children loved getting together each week to practice and perfect their team musical ride. They all had the chance to be together with their ponies in a new way, that was such great fun for all of them. They were split into 2 teams to enter the Pony Club virtual musical ride competition, one performing a choreographed ride to Let it Go from Disney's frozen and the other team riding to a medley of songs from the film Trolls. When asked what was the most fun you have had as a team, they all agreed it was dressing up and performing their musical rides, so wanted to represent both rides in a single artwork. The artists range from 6 to 14 years old, and this is always a great fun experience where all the age groups and abilities get to work together on a single piece of work.
