What is the inspiration behind your artwork?
Nine members, aged 5 to 11, reflected on their experiences at Pony Club through the seasons, capturing their favourite memories in this collaborative piece. As Rupert, 11, put it, it’s about “showing you all the activities through the year at Pony Club.” Using collage, pencil, pens, and pastels, they explored what makes each season special—winter rides in the cold because, as Ella, 11, said, it's about “having fun riding ponies whatever the weather.” Spring brings hacks with friends, summer is all about “shows and camps,” as George, 7, put it. Autumn is a time for competitions and care badges. Poppy, 11, summed it up: “learning how to look after our horses and giving them the best life.” Most of all, our artwork celebrates the fun and friendship of Pony Club. As Molly, 6, simply said, “Pony Club is very fun,” and Florence, 10, added, it’s about “having fun and doing different activities throughout the year.”
