Tetrathlon Study Days

The Pony Club Tetrathlon/Eventing Study Days are aimed at the Organisers, Team Managers, Stewards and Coaches of Pony Club Eventing competitions at any level.

The morning is spent walking the cross country course with a BE Technical Adviser discussing fence selection, course building and design, the placement and anchoring of portable fences and any other course related issues that come up.  After a break for lunch, the afternoon is spent indoors discussing all the other aspects of organising an event, followed by a question and answer session.

2023 Study days are being planned and will be advertised here when finalised.

2023 Study dates

Tetrathlon committee ran a successful study day at Larkhill XC on the 21st April.

Report about the day by Heather Greenslade

This event was one of the most stimulating , interactive and productive days we have had for sharing good practise for a long time. The sessions were all informative and our thanks go to Simon Bere BE TA, Roly Richard and Zoe Kennerly both ride phase controllers, Louly Thorneycroft for practical risk assessment help, and Liz Wilkinson for entries and scoring on line. The Larkhill venue was great. The Pony club hope to hold another day in the North or Borders locality soon. Such good practice shared and learning thank you every one who attended.
