Hold onto your saddles! We’re back with exciting news that’ll have you trotting to your sketchpads! The 2025 Pony Club Thelwell Art Competition is kicking off, and it’s going to be a blast!
Sponsored once again by the legendary equestrian artist Thelwell, this year’s theme is “Pony Club Through the Seasons.” Get ready to dive into the beauty and excitement of Pony Club life throughout the year!
What’s the Theme?

Get ready to unleash your creativity! This theme invites young artists to paint, draw, or create masterpieces that capture the magic of Pony Club life throughout the year. Imagine galloping through crisp spring mornings, basking in sunny summer days, splashing through autumn leaves, and riding through enchanted winter wonderlands. Each season has its own story, and we want you to tell it!
Whether it’s a snowy stable filled with playful ponies, exciting autumn jumping events, or the joy of riding under a bright summer sky, there are endless ways to express your Pony Club adventures! We can’t wait to see how you interpret the beauty and excitement of each season.
The best part? Winning artworks will be showcased at not one, but THREE amazing equestrian events across the UK! Your creations could be featured at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the London International Horse Show, and the Pony Club Championships! Imagine your art being admired by thousands of people, including famous faces from the equestrian world!
Winners will be honoured in style at The Pony Club Championships at Offchurch Bury, with fellow Pony Club members, families, and lots of cheering fans! Thanks to our wonderful partnership with Thelwell, we’ve got some fantastic prizes lined up that you won’t want to miss!
Who Can Enter?
All Pony Club members are welcome to join in the fun! Just remember to reflect the “Pony Club Through the Seasons” theme in your entry. For inspiration, feel free to look at previous years’ entries—they can spark some creative ideas! But don’t delay—entries open on October 21st and will close on February 24th, 2025!
