London International Horse Show, in conjunction with The Pony Club, are delighted to announce the return of the fan-favourite Pippa’s Pony Club Masterclass, which gives the opportunity for talented Members of The Pony Club to take centre stage at this year’s Show.
On Monday 21st December, equestrian legend and three-time Olympian Pippa Funnell MBE will host the final session of the London International Masterclass Series – a lineup of educational and entertaining guest-presented clinics, designed to delight the London International’s crowds. Alongside Pippa herself, Pippa’s Pony Club Masterclass stars four talented Members of The Pony Club, who will earn their place in the arena by selection at the 2026 edition of The Pony Club National Championships, which takes place from 14 – 22 August.
Qualification to take part in this exclusive masterclass will be awarded to the winners of the four sections within the evoke PC100 Eventing Championship, which runs on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August. These champions will be invited to take part in an unforgettable opportunity to learn from one of the sport’s most respected figures in front of a huge live audience. The Pony Club, which is the UK’s largest equestrian youth organisation, has been at the foundation of a huge number of today’s top sportsmen and women, and visitors might spot some stars of the future taking part in this session!
During this unique showcase, Pippa will guide her participants and audience through an exciting programme, covering the key principles of riding success, while offering her unparalleled expertise from the ground. Pippa’s methodical approach to training, as well as her advocacy for horse welfare and positive horsemanship promises to make a huge impact on participants and audience alike.
Pippa Funnell has enjoyed a distinguished career. In 2003, she became the first rider in history to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing after consecutive victories at Kentucky, Badminton and Burghley.
