The Dodson & Horrell Pony Club Quiz Final – Questions Available

Quiz Final

On April 20th, 2024, nearly 600 competitors gathered at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club for a significant day of Pony Club Quizzing. The event consisted of the Mini and Junior/Senior, all having qualified at their local area competitions on March 3rd. We also hosted a new Senior Inter-Area competition consisting of mixed branch and centre teams

The Mini Competition began with 54 teams competing intensely for the top 10. The rounds were both engaging and challenging, featuring charades, guess the item, and yard safety, testing members on their recall of Pony Club Tests and Achievement badges. Congratulations to Berkeley Yellow (Area 9 Branch) and Mill House (Area 6 Centre) for winning the Mini Competitions.

Following this, the Junior Senior competition saw a notable increase in difficulty, with 56 teams competing. The rounds—What’s My Job, Pictionary, and Learning Theory—required teams to demonstrate a deep understanding of various topics. Congratulations to Berkeley Hunt (Area 9 Branch) and Hayfield (Area 1 Centre) for finishing at the top in their sections.

This year also featured the inaugural Senior Inter-Area Competition, presenting higher-level questions with the same rounds as the Junior/Senior section. Ten teams competed for this prestigious title, with Area 1 emerging victorious.
