What a Day! The Dodson & Horrell National Quiz Final 2025 at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club on May 4th 2025
Wow — what an amazing day at the 2025 Dodson & Horrell National Quiz Finals! We had a record-breaking 143 teams take part this year — the biggest Quiz Final ever! Well done to every single team that took part and qualified for this event.
The event took place at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, where the rooms were buzzing with excitement, team spirit, and brilliant brainpower. Teams from all over the country came together to show off their Pony Club knowledge and have lots of fun doing it.

Before we celebrate our winners, let’s take a moment to recognise something truly special — every single team that made it to the 2025 Dodson & Horrell National Quiz Final has already achieved something incredible.
This event isn’t just about the trophies (although they are very shiny! 🏆) — it’s about the journey that brought you here. To even make it to the National Final, your team had to qualify through your Area rounds, which is no easy task. That means you’ve already shown impressive knowledge, teamwork, dedication, and a real commitment to learning.
We know how much effort goes into preparing for the Quiz — from practising questions and brushing up on Pony Club topics, to supporting your teammates and travelling to the event. Every single one of you has put in time, energy, and heart, and that’s something to be truly proud of.
Even if your team didn’t go home with a trophy, please remember this: you’ve taken part in a national-level competition, represented your branch or centre with pride, made new memories, and had fun along the way. That’s what the Pony Club is all about — learning together, supporting one another, and celebrating our shared love of ponies and knowledge. 🐴📚
