The Pony Club has circa 350 Linked Riding Centres that provide a variety of opportunities for young people who do not own their own ponies or who keep a pony at the Centre.
Each Linked Riding Centre is supported by a designated Centre Coordinator local to them to ensure they receive up to date information about current Initiatives and to assist them with managing their Pony Club.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with up-to-date knowledge of the equestrian industry and the intricacies of running a riding centre, to take on the Centre Coordinator role for Pony Club Area 19 (Southern Scotland)
The main focus will be to promote Pony Club Centre Membership to new and existing riding centres and for ensuring that Linked Riding Centres uphold the ethos of The Pony Club, promote good practice for riding schools, equestrian training, and the Centre Membership Scheme.
The Centre Co-ordinator role requires verbal and electronic reporting, so strong computer literacy is essential. The role is home based so candidates must be confident to work independently as well as part of a team, reporting centrally on a frequent basis.
Specific duties of the role will include:
Job Type: Part time self-employed contractor
Location: Field based incorporating visits to Pony Club Linked Riding Centres as well as work from home. In addition, there is the requirement to visit The Pony Club Office every 6 months for training.
Please note, due to the nature of the role, it is preferred if the post holder resides in the area that the role covers.
Remuneration: remuneration is calculated per Centre in the area inclusive of travel.
