Hurlingham Polo 1875 to Champion Young Talent at The Pony Club Polo Championships 2025 as Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) Marks 150 Years

Hurlingham Polo 1875, the official lifestyle and fashion brand born from the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), celebrated emerging British polo talent at The Pony Club Polo Championships 2025, the largest youth polo event in Great Britain.

Hosted at Cowdray Park Polo Club from 7th to 10th August 2025, the Championships welcomed 63 teams over four days of competitive play. The event also marked a major milestone for polo, as 2025 celebrated the 150th anniversary of the HPA, the world’s authentic governing body for the sport.

Jo Harrow, Head of Commercial and Marketing at The Pony Club, said:
“The Championships are the highlight of our season, an electrifying finale where over 63 teams competed in a festival of sport, skill, and fun. We are hugely grateful to Hurlingham Polo 1875 for their support in helping young players experience the thrill of polo.”

This partnership reinforces the shared commitment of Hurlingham Polo 1875 and the HPA to build polo from the grassroots up — fostering talent, inclusivity, and long-term growth in the sport.

Lily Shen, CEO of Hurlingham Polo 1875, commented:
“150 years after HPA wrote the original rules of polo, we were proud to invest in the future of the game by supporting The Pony Club Polo Championships. It’s here that passion for polo begins, and we were thrilled to help foster the next generation of British talent.”
