Dukes Show
Welcome to the Curre Hunt Branch of the Pony Club. The branch was
established in 1958 and is part of Pony Club Area 10. We are a very friendly
and have a range of activities to suit all ages and abilities. There are mounted
and dismounted rallies, quizzes, fun rides, visits and shows. The emphasis is on
fun and learning, but there are opportunities for the more competitive riders
to aim for Area Teams and take part in inter Branch competitions.
We encourage everyone to have a go and find out what they enjoy most.
To find more information about the disciplines we are involved in as well as Rallies Tests and Badges please go to our activities page.
The Curre Hunt Branch is named after the Hunt pack that originated from the Curre family in Itton. Now the Hunt has amalgamated with the Llangibby to form the Curre and Llangibby Hunt. The Curre Hunt branch of the pony club was founded in 1958. Some celebrity members from the past have included Mary Broome and Liz Edgar, top international showjumpers, Richard Meade, Olympic eventer and Jason Weaver, top jockey. We are proud to be one of the friendliest pony clubs around and our members are encouraged to take part in everything. a few of our successful teams are dressage, Showjumping, triathlon, tetrathlon and mounted games.
