Teme Valley Hunt Homepage

The Teme Valley Hunt Branch was established in 1962 and is part of Pony Club Area 10. We are based in Mid-Wales and our area stretches from Builth Wells to Knighton.  Our club welcomes children of all ages up to their 25th birthday (when we have a party!!!) and we aim to have fun whilst learning more about horsemanship and looking after our ponies.

We have rallies both during the winter months indoors and outside during the longer summer days. Annual camp lasts for five days and we stay overnight - lush.

We compete in all sorts of competitions from gymkhana and tetrathlon to eventing and quizzes. If you're not the competitive type, don't worry because  our rallies contain other fun stuff 4 you to do too! In August, we also go on a long distance ride across rural Wales camping in barns as we go.

Every now and again we organise 'on foot rallies' e.g. visiting local stud farms, going vaulting and paintballing has been requested!!

The Pony Club is the number one organisation for young people who love ponies and riding. There are more than 43,000 Pony Club Members in Great Britain, belonging to either a Branch or a Centre - there are more than 350 of each of these. Membership of The Pony Club offers fun, friendship, training, events and competitions.

Internationally The Pony Club has a membership of over 110,000 across 18 countries, making it the largest association of riders in the world. Most British equestrian medal winners at The Olympics and World Championships have been Members of The Pony Club.
