These are presented each year at the discretion of the District Commissioner with the advice of instructors within the Club.
Presented for outstanding achievement in a competition outside Northern Ireland, usually, but not exclusively at an event organised by the Pony Club.
Valerie Ann Mc Millan, as a member of a depleted Route Team travelled to the National Novice Championships and was placed second in the senior class.
Presented for a special contribution to the Branch by a Senior Member(s) throughout the
Year.
Two members shared the trophy: - Ailanore Harper and Philippa Laverty. These young Ladies represented the Club at the U.K. Championships, The Tetrathlon Championships and most notably at the Eventing Championships in Sansaw where both girls went clear on the cross-country and finished higher in the competition than and other N. Ireland Competitors and higher than any Club Member has achieved in the past.
Presented for a special contribution to the Branch by an Intermediate member throughout the year.
The winner of this trophy typifies the true commitment of a good Club Member.
Rachel Cochrane was an ever-present member at everything organised by the Club, Training, Rallies, Camp and Competitions. She was a member of the N. Ireland Junior Tetrathlon Squad who represented Area 17 in Yorkshire where she achieved a personal best.
Presented for a special contribution to the Branch by a Junior member throughout the year.
The winner of this Trophy had the disappointment of finding his pony lame just before the Area Competitions consequently he was unable to ride in any Pony Club events over the summer months. He was entered in Area Dressage and Home Championships yet he attended all activities and even helped out at the Area Trials.
This award went to Joseph Evans.
