Christmas Shoot 2005

PONY CLUB CHRISTMAS SHOOT

The annual Christmas shoot was held by the Route Hunt Branch of the Pony Club at Ballymoney on Tuesday 27^th December. This is always a relaxed and enjoyable occasion for tetrathletes and their families with both parents and members past and present competing.

There were 55 competitors in all and the standard of shooting was very impressive with Ailanore Harper of the Route in her last competition as a member, achieving a perfect score of 1000 and the father and daughter combination of Jack and Julianne Larkin taking the pairs Perpetual Trophy home to East Down.

At the prizegiving the Route President, Margaret Erwin thanked all the parents who had helped so willingly to run the event so well and to everybody who had supported and enjoyed the shoot. Sean Laverty, the outgoing D.C .gave a special vote of thanks to Joey Erwin who is retiring as the Route Tetrathlon organiser after 17 years and welcomed Stephen Harper who is taking over. Simpson Cochrane, Area Co-ordinator, Lithgow Currie,junior teams organiser and Eavan White Newly elected D.C of the Route kindly assisted with the prizegiving which was held in a very jovial amosphere.
