*PENTYRCH PONY CLUB*

The Pentyrch Branch was established in 1953 and is part of Pony Club Area 10. Thank you for looking at the Pentyrch Pony Club web site. Pentyrch Pony Club is small friendly club, but an active branch. We hold regular rallies and activites for all ages; abilities; shapes and sizes of ponies/horses and members!! We approach all activities with a have a go attitude and to have a fun time! Listed below is a selection of activites that we hold for members:

Regular mounted rallies - at no extra charge to the member
Annual Summer Camp - held at Stonar School with excellent facilities for both horse and rider!
Achievement Badge Awards
Riding and Road Safety training
Riding Proficiency Tests
Triathlon (Shooting; swimming and cross country running) - club guns available
Tetrathlon (Shooting; swimming; cross counrty running and cross country riding)
Cross country and show jumping training
Fun ride and picnic afternoon
Easter bonnet rally
Have- a - go showjumping competition for club members
Opportunities to compete at all pony club activites at all levels if you wish

The Pony Club is the number one organisation for young people who love ponies and riding. There are more than 43,000 Pony Club Members in Great Britain, belonging to either a Branch or a Centre - there are more than 350 of each of these. Membership of The Pony Club offers fun, friendship, training, events and competitions.

Internationally The Pony Club has a membership of over 110,000 across 18 countries, making it the largest association of riders in the world. Most British equestrian medal winners at The Olympics and World Championships have been Members of The Pony Club.
