On a bright sunny day a small group of our members made the trip to the Chepstow Racecourse for the team showjumping. The event was run alongside the Chepstow International Horse Trials - very posh!
The first class started at 2'6'' with a 2'9'' jump off; Harriet riding Little Mo, and Charlotte riding Poppy joined a member of the Curre PC to make a team. Harriet finished the two rounds on 8 faults and was placed 9th individually out of approx. 30 starters. Charlotte + Poppy jumped well in the first round with only 4 faults, but come the second round Poppy thought she was at Chepstow to race! Well she was racing the weekend before and won!
Class 2 (2'9''/3') saw Rhiannon (+Buzz) and Jess (+Zeo) representing us. Both jumped well, and Rhiannon jumped a double clear, being placed 4th individually out of a class of approx. 25.
Jess and Rhiannon also jumped in Class 3 (3'/3'3''), they were joined by two members of Curre PC to form a team. All team members jumped well, and the team came 2nd. Again Rhiannon jumped a double clear and was placed 3rd individually.
Well done to Charlotte, Harriet, Jess and Rhiannon.
