BELVOIR PC ODE RESULTS.

Congratulations to the Barlow level 4 team of Charlotte Heath-Smith, Abi and Rebecca Mottershaw and Hannah Goodman who came FIRST in the team event at the Belvoir ODE last weekend. All of them saw huge improvements in all three phases, especially the dressage which got them off to a good start. The SJ course was up to height and technical and caused a lot of problems but all the team rode well for a good score. 4 clear rounds around a super XC course set them up for their win. Special mention to Charlotte who flew round with Milly inside the time, a rare achievement.

Charlotte and Hannah are competing at the Area Level 4 ODE this weekend, together with Lucy Cocker who is competing in the Open competition. We wish them all the very best of luck.

The next team event is the Cottesmore ODE on Sunday 3rd August. I will not be able to go, but am happy to co-ordinate team entries if anyone would like me to put a team together. Please get in touch ASAP as entries close on 28th July. Schedule on the website if you want to have a look.

Also, for Level 1,2 and 3 there is the Meynell ODE at Kedleston on 14th August. There is a team competition here too, and it would be great to see some Barlow Juniors competing there. Many of you will have jumped some of the fences at Kedleston before so it is an ideal opportunity for your first attempt at a One Day Event - why not give it a go? Please let me know asap if you would like to be in a team as teams must be notified before entries close on 6th August. Again, the schedule is on our website.
