Rising Stars

Our Rising Stars group is open to all Flamstead Pony Club Members, however, our Rising Stars events are specifically tailored for our younger or less experienced members. We do not have any age limit for participation in Rising Stars training events.

We meet regularly throughout the year and enjoy mounted instructed rallies in flatwork, show jumping  (up to 2'6''), cross-country and mounted games. Our regular instructors include Clare Sheppard,
Jack Turner and Natasha Pirie.
During spring and summer months we meet at the dressage field at Wood End, and in winter months primarily at Briden’s Camp indoors school.
We have highly competitive, active and proficient mounted games teams comprising both senior and junior members. Both teams aim to compete at area level in 2008.

Our juniors are aged 10 and under and seniors are 14 and under. Eligibility for junior or senior team competition participation is based upon the age of the team member on the 1st of Januaryof that  year. 

We also work towards achievement badges in different areas of horsemanship
The group is open to new ideas and we welcome any suggestions as to how we can enhance or improve our sessions.
