Fernie Hunt Pony Club Homepage

The Fernie Hunt Branch was established in 1929 and is part of Pony Club Area 6.

The FERNIE HUNT PONY CLUB offers people from age five to 25 help and training with their ponies and horses. We organise expert tuition with accredited trainers, summer camps, rallies, stable management and team training. We also run competitions for all ages and abilities.

Meet other horse-mad youngsters; Learn how to care for your horse; Have a go at different riding activities from games to tetrathlon to show jumping; Enjoy social events and demonstrations; Compete at regional and national trials. Have fun!

We are a small branch with around 120 members so everyone knows everyone and the older children are happy to help the younger riders at rallies and at camp - they even organise a summer show for the Juniors. For the youngest there are fun activities like an Easter Egg Hunt and a Teddy Bears Picnic as well as a chance to learn mounted games, show jumping and cross country. For the older riders there is training for competitions and tests and plenty of opportunity to join a team.

Why not come along to one of our rallies and see what we do?
