Report on International Hunting Exchange

AREA 11 QUIZ - Saturday, 2nd February

The Area 11 quiz was hosted by the Cobham pony club and held at Denbies Vineyard, Dorking. It was a fair way to travel but a super venue were you could go on a guided tour and then relax in the conservatory cafe while our 3 Eridge teams battled it out. There were 8 rounds which proved to be a serious test of knowledge. Our teams consisted of Rohan Cadney-Moon, Rosey Saunders, Annabel Wallbridge and Emily Erde; Ross Rist, Lauren Mclusky, Katie Wallbridge and Fraser Simmonds; Yas Chapman, Sophie Rist, Hannah Stevens and Lottie Carter. They all found the questions challenging and interesting and, although they did not qualify for the championships, they gained a huge amount of knowledge from their efforts, and so did the parents as we were able to take the beautifully produced folder of quiz questions home to study !!!!!!!!

LOST PROPERTY

Fiona Whittington has a riding hat and a beige glove which were left in the Arnold's car at the rally at Golden Cross on 19th February. Please contact Fiona to arrange retrieval. Also, Emma Halcrow still has a small blue Dublin riding coat (age 6) which was left at Golden Cross during the rally at the end of last year!
